Trent Ivey makes Train Chassis debut during Winter Freeze XVI at Screven Motor Speedway

Making his debut behind the wheel of the Bryan Ridgeway-owned Train Chassis machine, Trent Ivey joined the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) and also competed in Crate Late Model divisions.

Amongst 32 Super Late Models, Trent picked up the final transfer spot in his heat race and soared to the front in the $10,000-to-win opener to round out the Top-5 in fifth behind Brandon Overton, Garrett Smith, Casey Roberts, and Ryan Gustin. Saturday saw mechanical failures prevent Ivey from racing.

In the 604 Late Model features, Ivey finished third on Friday and Saturday before finishing fourth in the 602 Late Model main event on Saturday evening to wrap up the weekend.
