World 100 brings Trent Ivey to Eldora Speedway
Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Trent Ivey joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 55th-running of the World 100.
Ivey raced his way into a pair of preliminary features to open up the event, finishing 18th on Thursday and 22nd on Friday night. On Saturday, Trent started seventh and finished eighth in his heat race which placed him in a B-Main. With one more shot at making the feature event, Ivey came up short of making the 100-lap, $72,000-to-win finale.
