Trent Ivey joins the Southern National Series for opening weekend
On Friday afternoon, Trent Ivey joined the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series at Beckley Motor Speedway (Mount Hope, W.Va.) for their 2025 season opener.
Grabbing a runner-up spot in his heat race, Ivey started sixth in the $10,053-to-win opener and wound up just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
Trent finished the doubleheader at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) on Saturday with a 17th-place run in the 53-lap feature.
