Trent Ivey tackles his yearly trip to The Big E for Dirt Late Model Dream
Opening up the weekend with a $20,000-to-win FloRacing show, Trent Ivey was one of 85 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday evening for the 31st-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.
Stopping the clock ninth-quickest in his stacked group, Ivey finished runner-up in his heat race and earned a sixth-row starting spot in the opener. Trent completed 25 laps before he pulled off and recorded a 24th-place DNF.
Slated for Friday's preliminary night, Trent made up ground in both his heat race and last chance showdown but was unable to make the 50-lap prelim feature.
With one more shot to make the finale on Saturday, Ivey started towards the back of his B-Main and was unable to transfer out of it.
