World of Outlaws World Finals brings Trent Ivey to The Dirt Track at Charlotte
Returning to the The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) for the second week in a row, Trent Ivey brought out his No. 88 Super Late Model for the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series-sanctioned World Finals.
For qualifying night on Wednesday, Trent missed the setup in Thursday's group by going 18th-quickest but picked it up with the sixth-fastest lap in Friday's group.
Making his first competitive laps on Thursday, Trent missed the A-Main cutoff after a seventh-place outing in his Last Chance Showdown.
With a better starting position in Friday's heat race, Ivey faded back to fifth in his heat and was unable to make up any ground in his Last Chance Showdown.
With Saturday's $25,000-to-win finale on tap, Trent missed the A-Main grid by just three positions in his Last Chance Showdown.
