Ivey races into World 100 preliminary features at Eldora Speedway
Making another Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) appearance, Trent Ivey made the haul to Ohio on Thursday afternoon to compete in the first night of the 53rd-running of the World 100.
With the whopping 102 Late Models split into two groups, Trent won his first-ever heat race at Eldora and recorded a strong 11th-place finish in the evening's preliminary feature.
For another round of preliminaries on Friday, Ivey once again made the A-Main starting field and landed inside the Top-10 in eighth.
Starting fifth in his heat race on Saturday, Trent slipped back to finish eighth. With one more shot to make the $56,000-to-win main event, Ivey recorded a 13th-place finish.
