Trent Ivey competes with Carolina Clash at Lavonia Speedway
Trent Ivey traveled to Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Buck Simmons Memorial.
With 29 Late Models in the pit area, Ivey qualified 14th-quickest before placing runner-up in his heat race to earn a spot in the 40-lap main event. Being buried in the back for the $7,500-to-win feature, Trent pulled his No. 88 Late Model in after just two laps and was scored 23rd.
