Ivey visits All-Tech for Sunshine State 50
Making one more start in 2022, Trent Ivey traveled to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) to compete in the Sunshine State 50 with the XR Super Series.
With 28 Late Models in the pit area on Friday, Ivey recorded the second-quickest lap before finishing third in his heat. After starting the $20,000-to-win feature from the fourth row, Ivey completed all 40 laps and finished 16th.
For the $40,000 finale on Saturday, Ivey finished third in his heat race, once again setting him up to start the 50-lap main event from the fourth row. After running inside the top-15 for much of the event, Ivey pulled off the track with five laps remaining, relegating him to a 17th-place finish.
