Top-5 finish with Ultimate SE at Cherokee Speedway

Friday night saw Trent Ivey return to action at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the Ultimate Southeast Series-sanctioned Charlie Mize Memorial. The following night at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.), Ivey recorded the fifth fastest time in his group, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Trent marched through the field five spots to place fifth behind Chris Ferguson, Ross Bailes, Dennis Franklin, and John Henderson.
