Trent Ivey kicks off Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series season at Talladega Short Track

Kicking off his championship hunt on Saturday afternoon, Trent Ivey was one of 46 Late Models in attendance for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series opener at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.).

Qualifying 13th-quickest in his stacked group, Ivey lost a few positions in his heat race which relegated him to a Last Chance Race. Trent was unable to make the $15,000-to-win main event after recording an 11th-place finish.
