Ivey struggles to find speed at Smoky Mountain with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Saturday afternoon saw Trent Ivey follow the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the King of the Mountain.
In a stacked 44-car field, Ivey finished seventh in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main which forced him to take a provisional. In the $15,000-to-win main event, Trent was an early retiree and finished 26th.
Trent is currently 19th in the HTFSDS point standings.
